LILAC COTTAGE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Included in the cottage-letting rate will be duvets, bed linen and two towels per guest, a travel cots and a high chair.
2. A deposit of 25% is at the time of booking. The balance of the rate will be payable two months prior to the date of the let.
3. Aberfeldy Cottages accepts no liability for loss or damage arising from any holidays taken in any of the cottages or activities participated in via the discount voucher scheme. Tenants should ensure that they have appropriate insurance (including cancellation insurance) to cover their holiday. An appropriate insurance policy can be provided by Self Catering Insurance
4. Cottage guests are requested to arrive after 2pm on day of arrival, (except Tomghuibhais, which is 3.00pm).
5. For cancelled reservations, if Aberfeldy Cottages can re-book the property for that period, we will give a full refund of any monies paid without deduction of administration costs.
6. One well behaved dog is welcome, at all cottages except Panmure (a second pet may be allowed subject to discussion with the owner), Dogs however they are not allowed in the bedrooms or on furniture in any circumstances. Dog owners are requested to bring appropriate dog baskets and bedding for their pets, towels to dry them when they get wet and to ensure that they are dry before entering the property. Owners are kindly asked to clean up after their dogs.
7. Guests can pay for their reservation over a period of four months or more by Direct Debit at no extra cost
8. The Cottage should be booked for holiday purposes only unless otherwise agreed. The properties must not be used for filming, weddings or parties of any kind without written permission.
9. Heating and lighting are paid for by meter reading on arrival and at departure at normal domestic tariffs.
10. Guests are not expected to clean, wash or make beds but should leave the cottage in the same condition as they found it and vacate the property by 10.00 am on the day of departure.
11. Smokers are allowed but in the interest of others who will follow we would ask that you confine smoking to the conservatories and porches of the properties.
12. Car-parking areas are safe and private. Barbeques and garden furniture are provided.
13. Aberfeldy Cottages reserves the right to charge for any replacement or repairs required by what is regarded as wilful damage to any property, also in the event that a cottage is vacated in a condition that necessitates additional cleaning resources, then Aberfeldy Cottages reserves the right to seek appropriate financial compensation.
