TOMGHUIBHAIS (5/6 personer)Husdjur välkomna, spabad och finsk bastu. Detta arkitektdesignade, fristående semesterhus är byggt på en bergssluttning för att få ut det bästa av den fantastiska utsikten över Taydalen mot Ben Lawers och Schiehallion. Det ligger längs en liten byväg i en lugn och fridfull omgivning, på gångavstånd genom en skogsglänta till den pittoreska marknadsstaden Aberfeldy. Perfekt för en romantisk semester.

Tomghuibhais interiör

Tomghuibhais, som är populärt hos smekmånadspar, är smakfullt inrett med möbler av hög kvalitet. Hallen leder till en vinterträdgård och vidare till ett vardagsrum på två plan med en kakelugn och trägolv täckta av mattor. Glasdörrar öppnas till en stor solaltan och vidare till en terrasserad trädgård. Fyra trappsteg leder till matrum, ett välutrustat kök i furuträ med kakelgolv, grovkök och WC.

Tomghuibhais matrum

Det finns ett dubbelrum med kingsize-säng och eget badrum med duschkabin, bidé, stort nedsänkt whirlpoolbad och finsk bastu. Det andra dubbelrummet har eget badrum med dusch och WC. En dekorativ spiraltrappa leder från vardagsrummet till ett mindre, ombonat rum med kakelugn och enastående utsikt över dalgången. Intill ligger ett sovrum med en enkelsäng. Huset har centralvärme med gas samt elförsörjning och ved till kakelugn som båda betalas enligt användning. Huset har privat, säker parkering, TV och video (med filmer), ett stort urval böcker, stereo, betaltelefon, tvättmaskin/torktumlare, mikrovågsugn, diskmaskin, frys, strykjärn, barnsäng, barnstol, inhägnad trädgård med trädgårdsmöbler, grill, barnvakt enligt arrangemang, täcken och lakan och gott om handdukar. Ett väluppfostrat husdjur välkomnas. Det finns ett landsbygdshotell med restaurang drygt 100 meter från huset.

Utsikt från Tomghuibhais

Det finns vandringsleder direkt från ytterdörren genom skogsmarken Birks of Aberfeldy, som omnämns i verk av poeten Robert Burns. Den slingrande stigen går förbi en rad vattenfall och klippavsatser med frodig grönska till en bro som leder över en älv. Älven forsar 18 meter ner till en mörk, gapande klyfta och fortsätter genom skummande strömmar och mörka dammar. Ovanför vattenfallen Falls of Moness finns det stora ljunghedar med häckande moripa, spov och tofsvipa. Detta fridfulla landskap gör underverk för utarbetade stadsbor.
