Cottage (Sleeps 6) This spacious and charming black and white cottage has been
imaginatively designed internally and is set peacefully next to Lavender
Cottage only 150 yards from the shops, pubs and restaurants in the heart
of the unspoilt market town of Aberfeldy. This cottage sleeps six comfortably
and each room has been furnished to a very high standard and they all offer
excellent views of the hills and surrounding countryside of Highland Perthshire.
Both the house and the secure garden offer absolute quietness and privacy.
The cottage is cosy enough to suit a couple yet large enough to accommodate
a family of six. It is ideal for that holiday to celebrate a special occasion
such as a birthday, anniversary, Valentines Day or indeed just to enjoy a
well deserved break in the most beautiful part of Scotland.
Lilac Cottage
is a spacious, comfortable and charming cottage thoughtfully and tastefully
decorated and finished to a very high standard throughout with each room
having co-ordinating fabrics, furniture and carpets. The living/dining room
has a pine mantle with living flame fire, colour TV and video (with library)
and a curved pine feature staircase . French doors lead outside to a secure
secluded patio and garden area with barbeque, garden furniture and with wonderful
open views across of the surrounding countryside to Weem Rock and the foothills
of the mountain of Farragon.
Off the lounge
there is a fully fitted modern designer beech kitchen complete with fully
integrated appliances including fridge /freezer, dishwasher, washer/drier,
electric oven, ceramic hob and built-in microwave. The kitchen The kitchen
has a small breakfasting area and contains every conceivable utensil and
appliance which would be required on holiday. In the ground floor entrance
hall there is a cloakroom with toilet and wash hand basin.
On the first
floor there is a Victorian themed king size double bedroom with colour TV
and en-suite bathroom, and two twin room with zip and link beds which make
doubles. The en-suite bathroom has a curved glass corner shower cubicle and
a Victorian roll top steel bath. The second bathroom also has a curved glass
corner shower cubicle and a built in whirlpool hydro-massage bath.
The house is
extremely well equipped and contains a radio/cassette/CD player, a book library,
games, payphone, iron, ironing board, travel cot and highchair. The house
is fully double glazed with gas central heating throughout. Duvets with linen
are provided and ample towels are provided. One well behaved pet welcome
and babysitting can be arranged. The garden is secure and car-parking area
is private. The house has barrier free access for wheelchairs. Local shops,
pubs and restaurants can be easily accessed via a short level 150-yard traffic
free walk. Payment for fuel is at cost by m eter reading.
Tariff:
Rentals range between £200 and £595.50 per week.
