Cottage (Sleeps 5/6) This cottage has been designed to spoil you with its large genuine
Jacuzzi bath, steam cubicle and infra red sauna. It is situated right next
to Appletree Cottage only a short walk from the centre of Aberfeldy via a
lane which runs past the old water mill. Newly built in tradit ional Scottish
style and finished in black and white, Lavender Cottage has splendid open
views of the hills and surrounding countryside from every room. Both the
house and the secure garden offer absolute quietness and privacy. The cottage
is cosy enough to suit a couple yet large enough to acc ommodate a family
of five. It is ideal for that break to celebrate a special occasion such
as a birthday, anniversary, Valentines Day or indeed just to enjoy a well
deserved pampered treat.
Lavender Cottage has been thoughtfully and tastefully designed with each room having co-ordinating fabrics, furniture and carpets. The living/dining room has a pine mantle with living flame fire, colour TV and video (with library) and a curved pine feature staircase. French doors lead to Victoria n conservatory and then outside to a secure secluded patio and garden area with barbeque, garden furniture and with wonderful views across of the surrounding countryside to Weem Rock and the foothills of the mountain of Farragon.
Off the lounge there is a fully fitted modern designer kitchen complete with fully integrated appliances including fridge /freezer, dishwasher, washer/drier, electric oven, ceramic hob and built-in microwave. The kitchen has a breakfasting area which can seat five and contains every conceivable u tensil and appliance which would be required on holiday. The large ground floor bathroom, all in white, has a curved glass corner shower cubicle, bath and infra-red sauna cabin whose treatment effects include melting away cellulite.
Upstairs there is a king size double bedroom with colour TV, a twin room with zip and link beds to make a double and a single bedroom with a pull out bed for an additional guest. The second bathroom also has a large curved glass corner shower with a fold down seat which enables it to double as a steam/aromatherapy cubicle. In addition this bathroom has a very large Jacuzzi hydro-massage bath.
The house is extremely well equipped and contains a radio/cassette/CD player, a book library, games, payphone, iron, ironing board, travel cot and highchair. The house is fully double glazed with gas central heating throughout. Duvets with linen are provided and ample towels are available. One well behaved pet welcome and babysitting can be arranged. The garden is large and secure and car-parking area is private. The house has barrier free access for wheelchairs. Local shops, pubs and restaurants can be easily accessed via a short level 150-yard traffic free walk. Payment for fuel is at cost by meter reading. Tariff: Rentals range between £200 and £595.50 per week.
